Appraiser Assistant

Born a Midwest charmer, I was soon transplanted to the southwest where I was raised in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, I uprooted and struck out on my own, finding my permanent home here in the Pacific Northwest, eventually meeting my wife, Andrea, with whom we share two children. I have learned I enjoy shade.

After returning to school to earn a post-baccalaureate Accounting degree from Portland State University, I dabbled in the worlds of public accounting and Hi-Tech finance until too many hours at a computer screen drove me to look for a new field. Now I’ve found my balance with real estate appraisal research, where I can frequently travel to meet new people and breathe real outdoor air! But still with just the right amount of opportunity to hide in my office when I’m in the mood to be a recluse.

Outside of work, when I’m not chasing my kids around to their endless soccer practices and tournaments, you’ll probably find me dreaming of chasing freshies on the south slopes of Mount Hood, cycling among the vineyards of the Willamette Valley, or trail running to the waterfalls of the Columbia Gorge. Most likely I’m dreaming these things while sipping an IPA at the local brew pub.
